Our Garden

To construct the beds we used a wicking bed system that conserves water usage.  

 

The majority of materials used to construct the beds were recycled.

Aside from the vegie garden we have lots of herbs growing like mint, sage, oregano, lemon verbena, rosemary and lavender that keep the native bees are happy in their bee hotel.

 

Some of the winter crops growing at present are garlic, leeks and lettuce, potatoes, snow peas and silverbeet.

 

We've just finished harvesting a bumper crop of pumpkins, which will feed us for many weeks to come.
