Why A Men's Shed?

The Men’s Shed provides a safe and caring mateship environment. Our members hail from all walks of life and from different age groups. Folks from all backgrounds and abilities are very welcome.

Most of us like being busy—working on projects, learning new things, or problem solving.

​

The Shed provides opportunities to do just that. We have woodworking and metalworking facilities, as well as a vegetable garden.

​

We have also found that folks experiencing loneliness or depression—often undiagnosed or ignored—seem to benefit from being at The Shed.

Such emotional or mental health challenges can be caused by the loss of a loved one, retrenchment, turmoil following a relationship breakdown, or lack of purpose.

The Shed provides a safe and supportive space where members can be creative, remain active, contribute to the local community, and connect with Shed mates.

Drop in for a visit, have a chat over a cuppa, and take a tour of one of the best Sheds in Victoria.
